| A short note about our shamans: Don Martin Pinedo Acuna, El Condor, was born and raised in Paruro (a province of Cuzco, the ancient capital of Peru). He was the apprentice of the famous Don Benito Corihuaman. After Don Benito's death, Don Martin inherited his mesa and his knowledge. He lives in the village of Huasao, Peru where he heals people every day. He is the keeper of the sacred Apu (mountain) named Pachatusan (where the Earth dances), the main Apu of the city of Cuzco. His special gift comes through the eyes, wings and energy of the Condor. His work with healing stones, the Earth- honoring ceremony (Despacho), and flute-playing is legendary and not to be missed. Marco Nunez Zamalloa is an adept teacher of the Andean wisdom ways. As Don Martin’s apprentice, he is also an accomplished shaman. He is Don Martin’s interpreter. A graduate of San Antonio Abad del Cusco University, he also has his own tour operation in Peru. Brian Osborne, L.Ac., is an accomplished master shaman who has taught for The Four Winds School as well as a select group of his own students. A Taoist Master and ordained Taoist priest, he studied with the Grand Master, Alex Anatole, author of The Truth of Tao, for 30 years. |

We are thrilled that Don Martin, the great Peruvian Condor Shaman and keeper of Pachatusan & the amazing curandera Twins, Dona Olinda and Isabel, and Don Marco Nunez, expert counselor in Andean medicine and translator, will be returning from Peru to work with us to share their wisdom that comes from their deep center of love and connection to the Earth. Their healing, wisdom and ceremonies have been described by many as life-changing. They will offer us their teaching and ceremony during the week in their transformative workshop “Walking in Ayni, with the Sacred Masculine and Feminine”, their sacred Mesada San Pedro Ceremonies, and Private Sessions. More about the workshops: Brian’s workshop Oct 1-3: Since ancient times, spiritual masters, shaman and diviners were thought to possess supernatural powers to foretell events, communicate with spirits and heal the sick. One of the secret s to these powers is to develop the innate ability to see the life energy that permeates all things. This unifying force or energy underlies all things and has many names such as chi, aura, or ethereal light. The sensory organ that perceives this light is called the third eye; detecting this light via the third eye is not the purview of a few sages, but is instead an inherent human ability that has become latent over time. We are all born with this talent but it has been systematically trained away by modern lifestyles. In traditional training this ability would have been only a small part of your daily routines. With this course, what would have been a small part of your training over the course of 20 to 30 years has now been concentrated into a single program. During the course of this weekend we will explore specific techniques for developing the ability to see the ethereal light. Brian's breadth of knowledge and skill are powerful and those of you who know him understand what a rare opportunity it is to study with him. He typically only teaches only a select group of private students, and is unique for teaching long- guarded techniques that are effective in creating massive shifts in one’s life. During this workshop you will share an opening Despacho Ceremony with Don Martin, and also connect to the great teacher Ayahuasca famed for expanding your connection to the divine, stripping away that which no longer serves you, and opening your heart to love. The Peruvian Shaman’s Workshop Oct 3-5: Our honored Peruvian visitors will lead us on an incredible journey to re-connect to our hearts and spirits and our great Mother Earth when take their advanced workshop, “Walking in Ayni with the Sacred Masculine & Feminine”. In this experiential workshop, we will share the great wisdom teaching of ayni or “right relationship” with these acclaimed shamans, as well as participate in sacred ceremony to re-connect to our true center- our hearts. As we balance ourselves, we walk the Earth in greater beauty, love, and joy than we thought possible. In doing this we balance not only ourselves, but also the world around us. We are honored to work with these great healers who represent the divine feminine and sacred masculine. This journey will give us the opportunity to awaken and balance the sacred Yanatin- Masintin (feminine and masculine), which is a necessity for deep balance, joy, and loving relationships in our lives. We will embark on deep healing explorations and ceremonies, never before offered in the United States that will balance these elements in ourselves. This is a central theme in Andean and Incan wisdom teachings (as well as other shamanic traditions around the world). When we do this kind of deep work, we transform and deepen our relationships with others and ourselves, thus opening the way to attract deeper soul connections both old and new. During this workshop we will undertake great cleansing, renewal and balancing. We will join in ceremony with Don Martin and experience his powerful Despacho ceremony, his rites, and his legendary flute music which he uses for vibrational healing and prayers. The acclaimed Curanderas Dona Olinda and Isabel known as “The Twins” will perform beautiful healing ceremonies and blessings, with the feminine elements and the divine spirit San Pedro, designed to cleanse your field and balance your body. We will work with the divine masculine and feminine through ceremony and the elements, on the beautiful grounds of the Abode Retreat Center. Ceremony will be held (weather permitting) on mountain top, by small lake, and in sacred Gardens. You will partake in at least 6 sacred ceremonies during this workshop, many never before performed in the United States. We will all also participate in a powerful Huaca ceremony to heal the earth, and connect the great energies of the Eagle and the Condor. During the workshop, the shamans will also talk about their medicine, cosmology, use of the mesa, and other matters and be available for questions and answers. Like last year, we will try to accommodate different needs with several choices of offerings so that you can get the experience you want at a fair price; and like last year, space will be limited, so we recommend you register as early as you can to hold a space before we sell out.
