| Dear Friend and fellow Earthkeeper, I was blown away by the exciting news Michael brought back from Peru last week. He spent time in ceremony with shamans, including Don Marco, discussing and updating the exclusive workshop they will be doing with Earthkeepers Foundation this October 3-5 during their U.S & Canadian tour. Because of the great need and importance of the knowledge they are bringing us as we approach 2012, the shamans have decided to share essential rites and teaching with Earthkeepers Foundation’s including the amazing Aclla rites and rites of the Hunan Chasra (initiation rites of the medicine woman and medicine man), for the first time in the U.S. Don Marco told Mike that the sacred work of balancing the masculine and feminine (known by the Inca as yanatin/masintin) holds the key to restoring balance to the world, as we move into deep equilibrium within ourselves. Like expanding ripples in a lake from the toss of a small stone, the impact of walking in true “ayni” (the fundamental Incan belief of reciprocity and balance) has far-reaching effect on the world around us. As we shift into a place of true wholeness, living from the heart, our world around us reflects our state- People doing this work report finding greater abundance, joy, and connection in all aspects of their lives and relationships. The shamans feel this key teaching is so important at this time, that they told Michael that they would reduce their fees so that it can be available to more people. They put the urgent need for this ahead of profits. The shamans have noticed across their upcoming tour, that the economy is affecting people who want to attend. For this reason we are re-pricing our program to a lower rate, and refunding this difference to all our registered participants. We want to do something this unusual to stress the importance of getting this essential wisdom and transformation shared by as many as possible. There are many wonderful programs that accomplish deep healing on the self but none that the shamans know of that work solely on the important foundation of balancing the masculine/feminine elements in ourselves. This will encompass 20 hours of deep sacred work. Accommodations price on campus: *In a shared double with shared bath for (roommates will be assigned or you can request someone) 2 nights at the Abode with all meals: $180 (6 meals, snacks and all beverages). * One can upgrade to 2 nights in a private single room with shared bath and all meals and snacks at the abode for $240, and if this is full, a private single room with private bath at our lovely affiliated inn only 3 miles away (with all meals at the Abode). Walking in Ayni with the Divine Masculine and Feminine”with Don Martin, Dona Olinda, Dona Ysabel, Don Marco and Earthkeepers Foundation: In today’s climate of increasing change with so many people reporting “ascension symptoms ” as we approach 2012, shamans feel the best preparation for the times ahead, and the only way to restore heaven on the earth, is for us to be in deep balance (ayni) with our inner masculine & feminine forces (referred to by the Incans as yanatin/masintin), which we all possess regardless of our gender. This is the simple yet powerful foundation that allows true balance within ourselves and the world around us. When this is accomplished, we truly see through the eyes of the heart, and in this state can dream a beautiful world into being- of balance, love, connection, and joy. We feel inner joy and our outer world is a manifestation and reflection of this joy. People, who have done this work, find themselves attracting incredible new energy and joy into their lives and many report sharing levels of love and intimacy they never thought possible. The crucial key of balancing these elements is in many prophecies from varied cultures: Many of you know the legend of “the eagle and condor”: When the eagle and condor join together, a beautiful new age will begin. This represents the “head” power (now run amok and often referred to as masculine) of the north, meeting the “heart” power (often referred to as feminine) of the south, and merging in balance. The Hopi of North America show a similar prophecy on their famed prophecy rock- men whose heads are disconnected from their bodies and destroy the earth if we do not return to the balanced ways of the heart. Juan Nunez del Prado speaks of another Andean prophecy that explicitly states that the way to ascension will be lead by several true couples of pure yanatin/masintin. These couples will teach the world the way to live in harmony and love with self and one another. The Gnostic teaching of Jesus also refers to these principles- as does the resurgence of the Magdalene (worship of sacred feminine) which has been popularized by Dan Brown’s DaVinci Code. David Sereda incredible documentary on the Mona Lisa-also shows the importance of these forces in transcending to a new paradigm of loving stewardship on our planet. The legend of the Holy Grail is an allegory for the merging of the healed masculine and feminine that leads to a new restored world. The grail must be found as it is the only way for the land to be restored. In Johnson’s analysis of the Parcifal myth in his book “He”, Parcifal embarks on the quest for the grail, yet because of the deep wound he carries passed down to him from his mother (imbalanced feminine), he is blinded from the truth of his heart and eyes and fails to ask or answer the question, “for whom does the grail serve?” Many traditions far and wide all say the same thing. This is the greatest key to our awakening and why the shamans are telling us the workshop they are doing on the masculine and feminine is so important and transformative at this time in history. As we approach the growing pains of a new world wanting to be born, we find a lack of balance that seems to be everywhere. We share these inequities with each other on face book- from the BP oil spill, to Monsanto’s toxins, to Gasland, to Food inc, to articles showing that newborns umbilical cord blood is loaded with toxins from the first day they enter this planet. We also see the imbalances in our relationships with one another and ourselves - from wars, to domestic violence, to divorce, to rampant depression and use of anti-depressants, to rising rates of teen suicide, to people desiring deeper intimate connections but being unable to maintain them in a world fractured from supportive community. The Earth itself seems to be mirroring these shifts with more earthquakes and solar storms. The shamans know that we are the microcosm of the world we see around us. The events we witness are, in many ways, projections of all our own active wounds and internal imbalances. So we wonder, from the imbalance of these times, how do we best hold space for the birth of a new age? Sometimes the path to enlightenment is not as complicated as we think. When we balance the masculine and feminine within we are able manifest a new age on earth. From this place, the gifts of the creative masculine build a new world in harmony and love because it does so with the full receptive and compassionate power of the feminine heart. Each depends on one another and each piece is equally important. The receptive and creative principle must co-exist in balance in order for creation to emerge from the void of no-thing. This is the dance of the universe understood by generations of Earthkeepers. When you look at the Chinese symbol for yin/yang (feminine/masculine in balanced harmony), you can clearly see a living picture of a being in ayni. Dark and light co-exist in perfect balance creating a pure circle. This circle is beyond duality, yet also contains two balanced polarities. Just as physics shows that endless infinites exist within a finite space, so too are we finite two-fold beings containing masculine and feminine that, when moved into right relationship, are able to transcend beyond duality into the infinite. This state creates huge waves of ayni in the world around us, like the concentric expanding circles in a lake from the toss of a tiny stone. That is also why some of the most powerful Incan shamans believe it is best to work in pairs, often of man & wife. They feel this is the most potent medicine way to heal the individual & world. Our honored guests, Dona Olinda & Ysabel are known as the “twins” not because they are twin sisters, but because they are complementary twin souls, meaning together, they are perfect healing pair known as yanatin/masintin , regardless of their outward gender. In this workshop we will do this sacred work- we will re-discover our own balanced polarities as we join together in exploration and ceremony to deeply balance our feminine and masculine. We will bring the shadow pieces of ourselves that are at war within us to the light of day and honor them in order for their gifts to be released. Many of you may have noticed that these pieces all refer, in some way, back to the basic elements of imbalanced masculine/feminine issues. Doing this deep work is the only path I know of that leads to the healthy resolution of what many are experiencing as “ascension symptoms”. As we approach the potential new energy that is calling us to move to a higher vibration, many of us find ourselves confronted and surprised by intense and heavy emotions and shadow- many which we thought we had already worked on. These heavy pieces are showing themselves at this time as a sacred opportunity to be “shed” so that we can move to a higher vibration, where we can restore the land and co-create a balanced world together where the heart and mind are united. In this workshop, we will re-unite with the fullness of our true being, and in doing so together, create ripples in the field of energy that will spread far and wide.
